Romans 8:28 says,
And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.
I'm going to be honest. I totally envy those who already know what God wants them to do, and have their whole life together. Because I don't about you, but I'm pretty sure that the rest of us have no idea what we are doing.
I came out of High School convinced I was going to major in Elementary Education and teacher little kids. Well, about half way through my first semester, I had no idea what I wanted to do anymore.Teaching just wasn't what I felt like I should be doing. But I didn't feel like I belonged anywhere. There wasn't anything else I really felt like I was good at, or wanted to do. That's when I realized that I fell in love with writing. It was the only thing I connected with. Something that connected me with God whenever I would write my prayers or how I was feeling. So, after a lot of thinking, I changed my major to journalism. Will I make money or a living out of it? You tell me, because I have no idea. But, I'm trusting God, because I finally know where I belong and I feel like that is what God wants me to be doing.
My point is, you may not know it yet, but God does have a special purpose and plan for your life. If you have no idea what you should do, turn to God, he will lead the way. We are all called by God. It's up to us to listen and do it.
